Terms of Service
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of OIP, the Opportunity Intelligence Platform at oip.world ("OIP", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using OIP, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use OIP.
1. What OIP is
OIP gathers information from official and public sources, such as government funding notices, SEC filings and public market data, and presents it with summaries and explanations. OIP shows facts and where they came from. It does not tell you what to do.
2. Not financial, legal or investment advice
Nothing on OIP is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Market and crypto information can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and markets carry real risk, including losing everything you put in. Funding and contract information does not confirm that you are eligible or that an opportunity is still open. Always check the original source and, where it matters, talk to a qualified professional before acting. You are responsible for your own decisions.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- Give an email address you control, and use OIP only for lawful purposes.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a paid plan.
- You may not scrape OIP at scale, resell it, try to get around plan limits or security, or interfere with the service or other people's use of it.
4. Plans
OIP has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. What each plan includes is described on the Plans page. Paying changes how much detail and volume you get; it never changes what a fact says or how anything is ranked, and no one can pay for placement. We may change what the plans include over time. If a change takes away something you are paying for, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
5. Pro billing
- Price. Pro costs $19 per month or $190 per year, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. The price is shown before you pay.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Square. Your card details go to Square, not to OIP, and Square's own terms and privacy policy apply to that payment.
- Automatic renewal. Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year and your card is charged the then-current price, until you cancel. If we ever raise the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, you keep Pro for a short grace period so you can update your card through the link in Square's email. If it still can't be collected, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you saved is deleted, though some items may be hidden until you are within Free plan limits again.
- Free trial. Each account can try Pro free for 7 days, once, with no card. When the trial ends the account returns to Free unless you subscribe; you are never charged for a trial.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel Pro at any time from Settings, or with the "Manage subscription" link in any Square receipt email. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your saved data stays yours, and you can remove it at any time.
7. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, except when a technical problem on OIP's side stops you from using Pro. The full details are in the Refund Policy. The Free plan and the free trial let you try OIP before paying.
8. Your content
Things you save in OIP, such as profiles, saved discoveries, Funding Plans, watchlists and followed markets, stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run OIP for you. We don't sell your personal information. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
9. Our content and sources
Underlying public data belongs to its original publishers and is subject to their terms. OIP's own software, design, summaries and branding belong to OIP. You may use what you see on OIP for your own work, but you may not copy or republish OIP in bulk.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep OIP accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Sources change, go down or publish errors, and OIP may be interrupted for maintenance or problems outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, OIP is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, trading or investment losses, or missed opportunities arising from your use of OIP or reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid OIP in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Using OIP after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
